Case Study – Red Hill FNC

About the Club

The Red Hill Football Netball Club is a proud, community-based, not-for-profit organisation located on the Mornington Peninsula. The club is committed to creating a strong team environment where people of all ages feel a true sense of belonging. The club plays a vital role in supporting young adults and fostering leadership, development, and resilience through sport.

This partnership was particularly special for Theartistree, as it allowed us to support both the broader community and one of our own – Connor, a valued team member and Red Hill player.

Project Objectives

The aim was to create a website that reflected the tradition, vibrancy, and spirit of the Red Hill FNC. It needed to serve as a central platform for communication and engagement, catering to a diverse audience including players, volunteers, supporters, and sponsors.

Functionally, the site needed to provide clear access to team information, fixtures and results, club news, and event updates. Additionally, it needed to capture the essence of the Red Hill community.

Approach

The focus of the design was balancing simplicity with functionality. The website structure was designed to ensure intuitive user journeys, making it easy to find game information, register interest, or stay up to date with news and events.

Visually, we honoured the club’s heritage through a bold colour palette and impactful design. The tone of the site was community-driven, reflecting the club’s values of inclusiveness, teamwork, and progress.

Responsive design was also key, ensuring optimal performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, whether at home or on the sidelines.

The Outcome

The finished 20+ page WordPress website acts as a community tool that strengthens engagement, streamlines communication, and supports the club’s continued growth. From celebrating its proud history to promoting future events, the site is designed to evolve with the club’s needs.
