Manually Creating a New Account in iPhone Mail

 Use these instructions only if you have not synced your mail settings.

1. Connect your device to the internet.
2. Select Settings on the home screen:

3. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars to start iPhone Mail:




4. Touch Add Account, select Other:




5. Page with account information fields appears:

Fill out the information fields as follows:

Account information

A. Name: Enter your full name as you would like it to appear on the messages that you send.
B. Address: Enter your full email address (eg This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it - example only)
C. Description: Name your account after your email "yourname@ - example only".

Afterwards select POP Account. If you are hosted with theartistree!

Incoming Mail Server

A. Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com.au
B. User Name: Is your FULL email address
C. Password: Your email account password - Provived by you Web/Email Host Provider i.e. theartistree.com.au

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

A. Host Name: ISP mail server (see Outgoing Mail Server of Major Australian ISP's)
B. User Name: ISP account name
C. Password: ISP account password

C. Touch Save button. Your account will be verified and you will be returned to the Mail settings screen.
D. Choose the newly created account from the account list and touch Advanced to configure/verify additional settings.
